Last night, I performed at the UNESCO sponsored Runway Jazz event featuring Kirk Whalum, Omawumi, Yinka Davies, Tosin Alao, Chee and a few other incredible artists. I was specifically asked to sing my song ‘Bring Them Home’ in an effort to continue to create awareness for the Chibok Girls’ abduction tragedy.

 

Besides the music, there were a few fashion designers who showcased their pieces and I was honored to wear a dress by one of them – Queen Ahneva Ahneva. 

She is especially known for her elaborate statement pieces that are just right for any stage performer.
